1,4-Butanediamine-13C2 (Putrescine-13C2) dihydrochloride is the 13C--labeled 1,4-Butanediamine dihydrochloride (HY-Y1781). 1,4-Diaminobutane dihydrochloride is an endogenous metabolite, acts as an indicator of pollution-induced stress in higher plants: barley and rape stressed with Cr(III) or Cr(VI). 1,4-Diaminobutane dihydrochloride as an important source of GABA.1,4-Diaminobutane dihydrochloride has antidepressant and analgesic activity[1][2].
