9,10-EpOME (9,10-Epoxyoctadecenoic acid) is a cytochrome P450-derived linoleic acid (LA) metabolite. 9,10-EpOME induces oxidative stress via activating NF-κB and AP-1 transcription factors, and promotes chemotaxis of human neutrophils. 9,10-EpOME induces mechanical and thermal pain in wild-type mice via PKA pathway. 9,10-EpOME can be used for inflammation and pain research[1][2].
