β-Bisabolol is a potent anti-inflammatory agent that can be found in cotton gin trash. β-Bisabolol inhibits the production of nitric oxide (NO), pGE2, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8 in LPS (HY-D1056)-stimulated macrophages and fibroblast cells. β-Bisabolol can be used for the research on inflammatory conditions[1].

(In Vitro)

β-Bisabolol (1.6-100.0 μg/mL；作用 24 h) 对 RAW 264.7 巨噬细胞、3t3 成纤维细胞和 HS27 成纤维细胞在浓度达 50 μg/mL 时无毒性，仅在 100.0 μg/mL 浓度下观察到轻微毒性[1]。
β-Bisabolol (1.6-50.0 μg/mL；预处理 1 小时) 可呈剂量依赖性抑制 LPS 刺激的 RAW 264.7 巨噬细胞中 NO、PGE2 和 TNF-α 的产生，还可抑制 LPS 刺激的成纤维细胞系中 IL-6 (在 3T3 细胞中的 EC50 值为 4.3 μg/mL，在 HS27 细胞中的 EC50 值为 8.8 μg/mL) 和 IL-8 的产生[1]。

Concentration: 1.6, 3.1, 6.3, 12.5, 25.0, 50.0, 100.0 μg/mL
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Found no effect on cell viability at concentrations up to 50.0 μg/mL in RAW 264.7, 3t3 and HS27 cells.
Showed slight toxicity at 100.0 μg/mL in RAW 264.7, 3t3 and HS27 cells.
