生物活性

CyLip-10 is a microbial-derived cyclic-lipid antimicrobial peptide. CyLip-10 has broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy, low hemolytic activity, and excellent stability. CyLip-10 can disrupt membrane integrity, inhibit biofilm formation and induce membrane permeabilization and bacterial cell death. CyLip-10 reduces bacterial load, promotes wound healing, and alleviates inflammatory responses in a mouse Methicillin (HY-121544)-resistant Staphylococcus aureus skin wound infection model. CyLip-10 can be used for the bacterial infection[1].

CyLip-10 (2 mg/mL；经局部给药；按 1 小时间隔给药 6 次) 可有效降低 MRSA 感染小鼠皮肤伤口中的 S. aureus MRSA 载菌量、减轻炎症并促进伤口愈合[1]。
CyLip-10 (30-100 mg/kg；腹腔注射；单次给药) 的体内毒性较低，其 LD50 为 49.40 mg/kg[1]。

Animal Model: BALB/C (male, 6−8 weeks old, 20±2 g, MRSA-induced skin wound infection model)[1]
Dosage: 2 mg/mL
Administration: Topical; six doses at 1-hour intervals
Result: Significantly reduced MRSA bacterial load in wounds compared to the model group.
Reduced serum TNF-α levels.
Produced wound areas smaller than the model group by day 4 and nearly healed by day 8.
Improved skin tissue structure with distinct epidermis and dermis layers, less inflammatory cell infiltration, and basically normal cell morphology.
