Acts upstream of or within positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated and regulation of osteoclast differentiation. Located in cytosol and nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including adipose tissue; branchial arch; early conceptus; genitourinary system; and gut. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in renal cell carcinoma.
