生物活性

NPT100-18A is an αSyn oligomerization inhibitor. NPT10018A rescues cleaved caspase-3 levels to control levels. NPT10018A attenuates mitochondrial oxidative stress probe levels in a compartment-specific manner and, at higher concentrations, increases ATP signals. NPT100-18A can be used for the study of Parkinson’s disease (PD)[1][2].

Dosage: 1 mg/kg, 5 mg/kg, 10 mg/kg, 20 mg/kg
Administration: I.p., once daily for 90 days
Result: 10 and 20 mg/kg significantly reduced foot slips.
10 mg/kg significantly improved the error rate in the Challenger beam test.
Accumulation of α-synuclein in neurons and neurites was reduced.
SDS-resistant α-synuclein oligomers were reduced.
α-synuclein changed from a membrane component to a cytoplasmic component.
Animal Model: mThy1-E57K-α-syn transgenic mice[2].
Dosage: 20 mg/kg
Administration: I.p., once daily for 90 days
Result: Significantly reduced α-syn dimer/trimer/polymers.
Oligomer accumulation decreased markedly.
