Palladium(II) acetylacetonate is a metal-organic complex. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate upregulates the expression of GRP78, ATF-4, XBP-1, CHOP, and phosphorylated c-Jun. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate induces Apoptosis. Palladium(II) acetylacetonate has anticancer effects against non-small cell lung cancer, gastric cancer, leukemia, and cervical cancer[1][2][3].

Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate (72 h) 在 H460、BGC-823、HL-60 和 Hela 细胞中表现出比 Cisplatin (HY-17394) 更强的细胞毒性 (在 H460 细胞中的 IC50 值：4.56 μM (Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate) vs. 10.17 μM (Cisplatin))[2]。

体内研究
(In Vivo)

Palladium(Ⅱ) acetylacetonate (1-2 mg/kg；腹腔注射；每 2 天；共 16 天) 显著抑制无胸腺 BALB/cA nu/nu 雌性小鼠 H460 肿瘤异种移植瘤的生长 [2] 。

Animal Model: Athymic BALB/cA nu/nu female mice (18-24g, 6-week-old) bearing H460 tumor xenografts[2]
Dosage: 1 mg/kg, 2 mg/kg
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection, every 2 days, for 16 days
Result: Dose-dependently reduced the tumor volume and weight compared with the vehicle control group.
Displayed better antitumor activity than Cisplatin at 2 mg/kg.
Showed no significant difference in body weight change between the vehicle group and the Pd(acac)₂-treated groups.
