PZ-11 is a derivative of thiazolidinedione with anti-tumor activity. PZ-11 can induce cancer cells apoptosis by downregulating anti-apoptotic gene AIFM1, BAG3 and BIRC3 and regulating pro-apoptotic gene BAD, HRK, CASP10 and CASP10. PZ-11 can be used for research of breast cancer[1].
