一般步骤：在室温下，向搅拌的N-甲基-2-羟基乙胺（10 g，133.13 mmol）的二氯甲烷（200 mL）溶液中依次加入二异丙基乙胺（30.8 mL，186.39 mmol）和叔丁基二甲基氯硅烷（20.06 g，133.13 mmol）。将反应混合物搅拌16小时。反应完成后，加入水，并用二氯甲烷萃取混合物。分离有机相，用水洗涤，无水硫酸钠干燥，减压浓缩，得到N-[2-(叔丁基二甲基硅氧基)乙基]甲胺（18 g，71.39%）为黄色液体。
