Morpholineborane is colorless to white crystalline powder

Uses

Morpholineborane can be used as reducing agent for aldehydes and ketones. It is use-ful in acid media where sodium borohydride is inef-fectual because of its instability in acid.

Application

Borane morpholine complex is used as a pH adjustment additive in fossil fuel and steam systems as a corrosion inhibitor.

Ethanolysis producing a reducing system
Being a reducing agent for synthesis of Rh nanoparticle / carbon nanotube catalysts
Stereoselective and regioselective reduction of steroidal ketones
