Aurovertin B is a natural product with anti-cancer activity. Aurovertin B exhibits potent and selective anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic effects on triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells by inhibiting ATP synthase activity and upregulating the expression of DUSP1. Aurovertin B effectively inhibits the migration, invasion, and lung metastasis of TNBC cells by activating the ATF3-DUSP1 signaling axis. Aurovertin B enhances the recognition and killing of cancer cells by natural killer (NK) cells by upregulating the expression of NKG2D ligands (such as ULBP3) on the surface of colorectal cancer cells, and is a potential immunomodulator[1][2][3].
