FTO-IN-15 is a potent and selective dual-competitive FTO inhibitor with an IC50 of 43.7 nM, showing high selectivity over ALKBH3 and ALKBH5. FTO-IN-15 substantially inhibits FTO demethylation by simultaneously occupying the substrate and 2-oxoglutarate (2-OG) pockets. FTO-IN-15 can be used for the research of acute myeloid leukemia (AML)[1].
