Brochures - What material type?
Sorry MM people, but I'm not an MM whizz so forgive the simplicity of this question. We have catalogues and brochures etc. which are consumed rather than sold, which rules out Standard material. Will type ZNVS be OK to use? Basically, we need the cost to go to a specific Ledger account and to be able to track the units (for both re-order and cost purposes). Will using ZNVS material type be OK??

The Z as the beginning letter for material type indicates that this is an homemade materialtype, no standard SAP material type.You have to ask this question within your organisation.

A material type based on non-valuated type should meet your requirements.
