本产品适合从新鲜的或者是冷冻贮藏的人或动物组织、抗凝全血、细胞、细菌等样本中分离纯化总DNA（包括基因组DNA、线粒体DNA及可能存在的病毒DNA）。动物组织或全血样本经蛋白酶K消化后，添加乙醇促使DNA吸附到纯化柱上，降解的蛋白与PCR抑制物则被过滤除去，DNA经Buffer WA和Buffer WB洗涤后，用Buffer TE洗脱，即可用于各种分子生物学实验。
