分离胶管（SST管）是一种简便而又实用的试管，该试管利用硅盐促进血液凝固，并经离心，使其管底的分离胶上升并压迫血凝块，分离出血清。由于该试管具有易操作、安全、准确及可重复性等优点，已在多个国家和地区的临床实验室和医院检验科应用。
BD血清分离胶管内壁均匀喷涂促凝剂加速血液凝固，缩短周转时间（TAT).惰性分离胶用于离心后分隔血细胞和血清，可提高血清产量，保持血清长时间稳定，利于样本的附件。分离胶稳定性强，不易吸附血清中的蛋白质，对药物检测及普通的生化检测可得出真是的结果。
