HDV-235
Hepatitis D virus is one of the 5 main types of viral hepatitis (A, B, C, D, and E). HDV is a small sphere-shaped virusoid that causes Hepatitis D disease. Hepatitis D virus is typed as a subviral satellite as it can proliferate strictly when HBV (hepatitis B virus) is present. HDV can be transmitted along with HBV, also known as coinfection. Another way is superinfection, along with a state of hepatitis B carrier or chronic hepatitis B.
The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the HDV immunodominant regions 1-108 a.a. and 151-209 a.a.
HDV protein is fused to a 114 kDa B-galactosidase at N-terminal and purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).
(1mg/ml) 10mM CBB, pH-10, 100mM NaCl and 50% glycerol.
HDV although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C.
Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
