LS-F52 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human CD40 in samples of Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CD40 as low as 54.87 picograms per milliliter. About CD40 CD40 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. The encoded protein is a receptor on antigen-presenting cells of the immune system and is essential for mediating a broad variety of immune and inflammatory responses including T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell development, and germinal center formation.
