描述：4-Epianhydrotetracycline Hydrochloride is the epi- derivative of antibiotic Tetracycline . Studies have shown that this derivative can exhibit a 250-fold higher toxicity depending on the system under study. In the chick embryo the LD50 of 4-Epianhydrotetracycline Hydrochloride was found to be 4.8 times lower than that of Tetracycline with extreme pronounced anomalies with exposure to 500γ 4-Epianhydrotetracycline Hydrochloride.
