ELISA,theantibodyreactswithwholemoleculerabbitIgG.Italsoreactswiththelightchainsofotherrabbitimmunoglobulins.Noantibodywasdetectedagainstnon-immunoglobulinserumproteins.TheantibodyhasbeentestedbyELISAand/orsolid-phaseadsorbedtoensureminimalcross-reactionwithhumanserumproteins,butitmaycross-reactwithimmunoglobulinsfromotherspecies.
