储 存 液0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.03% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.
保存条件Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.
产品介绍background:
The protein encoded by this gene is involved in the transforming growth factor beta signaling pathway that results in an inhibition of the proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cells. The encoded protein is activated by bone morphogenetic proteins type 1 receptor kinase, and may be involved in cancer. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014]

Function:
Transcriptional modulator activated by BMP (bone morphogenetic proteins) type 1 receptor kinase. SMAD5 is a receptor-regulated SMAD (R-SMAD).

Subcellular Location:
Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Cytoplasmic in the absence of ligand. Migrates to the nucleus when complexed with SMAD4.

Tissue Specificity:
Ubiquitous.

Post-translational modifications:
Phosphorylated on serine by BMP (bone morphogenetic proteins) type 1 receptor kinase. 
Ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis by SMAD-specific E3 ubiquitin ligase SMURF1.

Similarity:
Belongs to the dwarfin/SMAD family. 
Contains 1 MH1 (MAD homology 1) domain. 
Contains 1 MH2 (MAD homology 2) domain.
