Product DescriptionLS-F26918 is a 96-well enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the Quantitative detection of Human CSF2 / GM-CSF in samples of Plasma and Serum. It is based upon a Sandwich assay principle and can be used to detect levels of CSF2 / GM-CSF as low as 1 picograms per milliliter. About CSF2 / GM-CSF CSF2 / GM-CSF is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localized to a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which is known to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q- syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the cluster include those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13.\xa0Uniprot:\xa0P04141P04141\xa0NCBI:NM_000758NM_000758\xa0NP_000749.2NP_000749.2

SpecificationsType \xa0 Sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit Target \xa0 CSF2 / GM-CSF Reactivity \xa0 Human Specificity \xa0 This kit is for the detection of Human CSF2 / GM-CSF. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between CSF2 / GM-CSF and analogs was observed. This claim is limited by existing techniques therefore cross-reactivity may exist with untested analogs. Manual \xa0 Intended Sample Types \xa0 Plasma, Serum Format \xa0 96-Well Strip Plate Detection \xa0 Colorimetric - 450nm (TMB) Measurement \xa0 Quantitative Detection Range \xa0 50 - 1000 pg/ml Sensitivity \xa0 1 pg/ml Assay Time \xa0 1.5 h Precision \xa0 Intra-Assay: CV%<9% Inter-Assay: CV%<10% Storage \xa0 Short term: 4°C; Long term: see manual. Quality Assurance \xa0 Due to their limited shelf life, LSBio ELISA kits are not typically stocked as finished goods. Upon receipt of an order each kit is assembled and tested to ensure that it meets specifications before shipping. Minor changes may occur to the Range, Sensitivity, and Precision. In the event of a significant change the order would be confirmed with the customer before shipping ELISA kit lot numbers reflect the date of final assembly and testing for each specific kit rather than a bulk manufactured lot. All kits are tested to confirm that they fall within their defined Inter- and Intra- assay coefficient of variation. Kit Components \xa0
