Because of the central role in the cellular biology of prostate cancer, the androgen receptor (AR) is an important therapeutic target for fighting this tumor.

The library has been designed around 21 core structures (in fact, this is not limit and more cores can be identified for further library expansion).

Each of these cores is able to provide 1-3 scaffolds, so the entire library has been populated around 51 scaffolds.
