Packaging:

Oxidized LDL is membrane filtered and aseptically packaged in a solution

containing phosphate-buffered saline at pH7.4 and <1µM EDTA-Na2.

Preparation:

 Human LDL (which was purified to homogeneity via Ultra-centrifugation (1.019-1.063g/cc))is oxidized using 5uM Cu2SO4 (oxidant) in PBS at 37℃ for 20 hours.Oxidation is terminated by adding excess EDTA-Na2.Each lot is analyzed gel electrophoresis for migration versus LDL. This lot of OX-LDL migrates 2.0fold further than the native LDL. This type Oxidized LDL is widely used to investigate lipid metabolism, but not induce cell apoptosis. Apoptosis inducement choose High Oxidized LDL from our company.

TBARS:

TBARS is determined colorimetrically by using Malondialdehyde as a standard.

Stability:

This product is stable for 6 weeks after receipt when handled aseptically and stored at 2-8℃. NEVER FREEZE

        *Special Note:  After prolonged storage, some precipitate may be oberved. This is normal for this product. Clarify out the aggregates by spinning in a microfuge for 2 minutes.
