Crystallographic investigations of N9-propyladenine N1-oxide silver complexes, having different counteranions, are reported. While hydrogen bonded 1D polymeric chains were observed in case of NO3− (1) and BF4− (2); PF6− (3) and OTf− (4) afforded six membered metallacycles; and ClO4− (5) resulted in coordination polymers comprising of quartet of dimeric assemblies.
