Abstract

The dispersive micro-solid-phase extraction based on the metal–organic framework MIL-101(Cr) was developed and applied for the extraction of hormones from cosmetics. The hormones were separated and determined by high performance liquid chromatography. Several experimental parameters, including extraction method, extraction time, pH value of sample solution, amount of MIL-101(Cr), concentration of NaCl, volume of elution solvent and elution time, were investigated. The limits of detection and quantification for the analytes ranged from 0.36 to 0.91 μg L−1 and from 1.20 to 3.04 μg L−1, respectively. The precision for determining hormones was lower than 6.1%.
