Abstract

A Pd/α-Al₂O₃ nanocatalyst was synthesized and investigated as a catalyst for CO oxidative coupling to diethyl oxalate and CeO₂ was used as a promoter. With the highest activity and stability found so far, great CO conversion and diethyl oxalate selectivity were achieved due to the addition of CeO_2.
