Composition-tunable PdPt bimetallic nanoalloys with sub-2.0 nm islands have been successfully synthesized through a facile aqueous solution approach. Among them, the Pd₅₀Pt₅₀ nanoalloys exhibit considerably higher catalytic activity and durability for methanol oxidation reaction than commercial Pt black.
