Abstract
The reaction between O2 and the dimer [Pd2(μ-Br)2(PBut3)2 ] leads to the formation of the novel dimeric compound [Pd(μ-OCH2{CMe2}PBu t2)Br]2 by coordination of O2 to the original palladium dimer and further formation of two C–O bonds by intramolecular activation of C–H bonds.
