Mesoporous hydrogenated TiO₂ microspheres were synthesized via a simple hydrogenation treatment process, and showed twice the rate capability compared to that of mesoporous TiO₂ microspheres at 20 C due to the combination of the short lithium ion diffusion path and the high electronic conductivity of the mesoporous hydrogenated TiO₂ framework.
