Abstract

The complete baseline separation of vitamin E (tocopherol) isomers is described for the first time using newly developed alternating copolymersilica (5 μm particle size) hybrids. The separation is driven by high molecular planarity (shape) selectivity due to multiple interactions with the integrated weak interaction sites towards the solute molecules.
