Abstract

Microporous POP-1 has been successfully synthesized and displays a remarkable capability to selectively adsorb and separate MO dyes. Furthermore, Eu3+@POP-1 can be easily prepared by the postsynthetic incorporation of Eu3+ cations into the framework, which can not only serve as a platform for recognition of Fe3+ and methanol, but can also be used as a new ratiometric pH sensor.
