The one-step synthesis/assembly of a cake-shaped porphyrin colloidal microcrystal with tailored height窶電iameter was demonstrated based on interfacial assembly and the water-droplet template. The as-fabricated anisotropic colloidal crystals showed special optic properties and enhanced optic-limiting behavior.
