Abstract

A Pb(II)-imprinted polymer shell is chemically fabricated on the surface of Fe₃O₄@SiO₂ core. The title magnetic microspheres capture lead ions rapidly and selectively from aqueous solution so that facile onsite preconcentration and monitoring of lead ions at trace level is possible.
