Three-dimensional yolk–shell structured CoFe₂O₄ microspheres were successfully prepared by hydrothermal method coupled calcination. The obtained magnetic yolk–shell microspheres exhibit excellent ability to activate peroxymonosulfate for efficient degradation of butyl paraben in wastewater followed by easy magnetic separation.
