Abstract

The title compound adopts a structure reminiscent of metallocene analogues, in which two disk-like units [Pd^II₃(THBQ)(tben)₃]²⁺ bind to one naked Pd⁰ metal in a sandwich form through each C₆O₆⁴⁻ (THBQ⁴⁻) ring with an η⁶-binding fashion.
