Erosion-corrosion in marine equipment is the most challenging phenomena. Understanding the mechanism of synergism and factors affecting the erosion-corrosion gives a pathway to develop strategy to overcome the problems. Use of different types of experimental rigs play a decisive role in erosion-corrosion measurements.
