Inspired by the lack of supramolecular hybrids induced by the multivalent interactions, we conducted three integrations of trication or tetracation with thiocyanate via strict templated self-assembly. These compounds represent the first type of 2–3 dimensional multi-threading polypseudorotaxanes based on Cu₆(SCN)₆ macrocycles.
