Alkaloids of Dryadodaphne novoguineensis
Journal of the Chemical Society C: Organic Pub Date : , DOI:10.1039/J39690001627
Abstract

The structures of two new alkaloids from the New Guinea plant Dryadodaphne novoguineensis have been shown by degradative and spectroscopic evidence to belong to the thalmine group of bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloids. Small amounts of the aporphine alkaloid laurotetanine, and the oxoaporphines spermatheridine and atheroline, together with another unidentified yellow alkaloid were also isolated.
