Abstract
Hexakis(pent-4-ynyl)benzene (III) and tetracyclo(28,12,0,02,15,016,29) dotetraconta-1,15,29-triene-8,22,36-triyne (X) have been prepared and cyclotrimerised on a Ziegler catalyst.
