Feeding experiments with the leaves of Azadirachta indica have shown that euphol is more efficiently incorporated into the meliacin (limonoid) nimbolide than are its isomers butyrospermol (Δ⁷), tirucallol (Δ⁸; 20α-H) and Δ⁷-tirucallol.
