Unusual temperature-dependence of the 19F nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of compounds containing the –CFN– unit
Journal of the Chemical Society D: Chemical Communications Pub Date : , DOI:10.1039/C29690001132
Abstract

The sharpening of the room-temperature spectrum due to CF[double bond, length half m-dash]N– in CF3N:CF·CF2Cl as the temperature is lowered may be due to natural decoupling of 14N–19F coupling resulting from more effective quadrupolar relaxation of the nitrogen nucleus at the lower temperatures.
