Chiral C₂-symmetric electroactive bis(oxazolines) containing an EDT-TTF (ethylenedithio-tetrathiafulvalene) backbone, as promising multifunctional ligands and precursors for chiral molecular materials, were synthesized and structurally characterized, together with octahedral molybdenum and tungsten carbonyl complexes.
