(21S)-Argatroban is an isomer of Argatroban (HY-B0375) and is a thrombin inhibitor. (21S)-Argatroban can prolong blood clotting time, reduces platelet adhesion and aggregation[1].

(In Vivo)

(21S)-Argatroban (0.4 mg/kg, intravenous infusion, once daily for 3 consecutive days) significantly prolongs whole blood clotting time, recalcification time, prothrombin time, thrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time and reduces platelet adhesion, aggregation in normal domestic dogs[1].

Animal Model: Domestic dogs[1]
Dosage: 0.4 mg/kg
Administration: intravenous infusion, once daily for 3 consecutive days
Result: Increased CT time from 390.8-551.8.
Increased RT time from 143.2-196.5.
Increased PT time from 5.6-9.6.
Increased TT time from 11.1-53.3.
Increased ATPP time from 20-24.5.
