AK114 binds to interleukin-1 beta and prevents its binding to the IL-1 receptor, suppresses inflammatory responses, tumorigenesis, and angiogenesis mediated by interleukin-1 beta.AK114 exhibits anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating, and antineoplastic activities[1].
