BAY-297 is a PIP4K2A inhibitor. BAY-297 binds to PIP4K2A in intact cells and cell lysates. BAY-297 serves as a chemical probe for investigating the PIP4K2A signaling pathway and its roles in physiological conditions such as cancer[1].

BAY-297 ( Compound 58) 可在 ATP 消耗实验中强效抑制重组 PIP4K2A 激酶活性，在 (10 μM ATP) 条件下的 IC50 值为 13 nM，在 (250 μM ATP) 条件下为 69 nM[1]。
BAY-297 可在 HTRF 结合竞争实验中抑制重组 PIP4K2A 激酶活性，在 (10 μM ATP) 条件下的 IC50 值为 110 nM，在 (2 mM ATP) 条件下的 IC50 值为 769 nM[1]。
BAY-297 (0.01 μM-0.1 nM) 可与 THP-1 细胞裂解物和完整 THP-1 细胞中的 PIP4K2A 结合，EC50 分别为 2.1、1.6 μM[1]。
BAY-297 在人肝微粒体中抑制 CYP2C8 (IC50 2.3 μM)、CYP2C9 (IC50 3.4 μM) 和 CYP3A4 (IC50 10 μM)，对 CYP1A2 或 CYP2D6 无显著抑制作用[1]。
BAY-297 在重组 HEK293 细胞中抑制 hERG 电流，其 IC50 为 3.1 μM[1]。
