Capromab is an anti-human PSMA-targeting monoclonal antibody. Capromab binds specifically to the intracellular domain of PSMA, does not undergo internalization after binding, and targets necrotic cells with disrupted membranes. Capromab can be used for the research of prostate cancer[1].

Animal Model: BALB/c nu/nu mice (male; subcutaneous PC3 xenograft, 3 weeks post-injection)[1]
Dosage: 3 μg total antibody per animal
Administration: i.v. (tail vein); single dose
Result: Showed significantly lower (p < 0.01) tumor uptake in PSMA-negative PC3 xenografts compared to PSMA-positive LNCaP xenografts, with uptake levels comparable to muscle tissue.
