Chondroitin sulfate (Chondroitin polysulfate) (from fish) is a sulfated linear polysaccharide extracted from fish, belonging to glycosaminoglycans. Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) inhibits pancreatic lipase activity, mature adipocyte proliferation, lipid accumulation in mature adipocytes, intestinal triglyceride absorption, and the resorptive activity of human osteoclasts. Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) can be used in research related to obesity and osteoarthritis[1][2].

Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) (5-50 mg/mL; 30 min) 呈剂量依赖性抑制猪胰脂肪酶活性[1]。
Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) (10-1000 μg/mL) 对脂肪细胞增殖、代谢和脂质积累的具有直接的抑制作用[1]。
Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) (1-1000 μg/mL; 7 days) 在 100 μg/mL 浓度下可显著减少源自人外周血单核细胞的 TRAP 阳性多核破骨细胞数量，在其他测试浓度下的作用效果则不一致[2]。
Chondroitin sulfate (from fish) (1-1000 μg/mL; 10 days) 对由人外周血单个核细胞分化而来的成熟破骨细胞的骨吸收活性的抑制作用存在差异：在 1、5、100 和 1000 μg/mL 浓度下可显著抑制牙本质陷窝吸收，但在 200 或 500 μg/mL 浓度下无此作用[2]。
