生物活性

Crepidatin is a bibenzyl compound that can be isolated from the stems of Dendrobium loddigesii. Crepidatin promotes anoikis of lung cancer cells. Crepidatin inhibits the anchorage-independent growth of human lung cancer cells. Crepidatin can be used in lung cancer-related research[1].

Incubation Time: 4 weeks (suspended soft agar culture)
Result: Significantly reduced relative colony numbe and relative colony diamete compared to untreated control.
Further reduced relative colony number nd relative colony diameter compared to untreated control at 1 μM.

Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Caused significant enhancing effect on cell anoikis in a concentration-dependent manner.
