生物活性

Decussatin is an α-Amylases inhibitor isolated from the Tibetan medicinal plant Swertia mussotii. By inhibiting the catalytic activity of α-Amylases, Decussatin reduces the hydrolysis of complex carbohydrates such as starch and the intestinal absorption of glucose, thereby lowering blood glucose levels in the body. Decussatin shows no significant in vitro antibacterial or antifungal activity. Decussatin can be used for the research of type 2 diabetes[1][2][3].

Decussatin (8 mg/mL) 在体外抗菌实验中对大肠埃希菌、枯草芽孢杆菌、肺炎克雷伯菌、金黄色葡萄球菌均无明显抑制活性[2]
Decussatin 在 1 mg/mL 浓度下对 α-淀粉酶的抑制率达 78.0%,该浓度下抑制活性优于同浓度的 Acarbose (HY-B0089)[3]

(In Vivo)

Decussatin 的提取来源植物 Anthocleista vogelii 的水甲醇粗提取物 (1 g/kg;灌胃;每日 1 次;连续 7 天) 可在四氧嘧啶诱导的糖尿病白化 Wistar 大鼠中,显著降低其血糖水平。茎皮提取物可在第 5 天达到 69.68% 的血糖峰值降低率,叶提取物可在第 7 天达 60.35% 的血糖峰值降低率,均高于 Glibenclamide (HY-15206) 的降糖效果[3]
