Is expressed in several structures, including brain and genitourinary system. Used to study chronic myeloid leukemia; schizophrenia; and urinary bladder Cancer. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in Alzheimer's disease; hidradenitis suppurativa; and schizophrenia. Orthologous to human NCSTN (nicastrin).
